The points for this course were set by 21 of its runners: those who already had ranking scores and ran close to them. That's across this course and 8B, which have the same length, climb and controls and are calculated as one. Their scores averaged 861.04 and their times 57:25, so that time earned 861 points, and each minute faster or slower was worth 9.61 points. How points are calculated.
