The points for this course were set by 22 of its runners: those who already had ranking scores and ran close to them. That's across this course and WV, which have the same length, climb and controls and are calculated as one. Their scores averaged 1,053.66 and their times 53:27, so that time earned 1054 points, and each minute faster or slower was worth 11.72 points. How points are calculated.
