1,000 points = 999.5 the field's average score + 102.34 spread of their scores × ( 1:11:12 their average time − 1:11:12 a time, T ) ÷ 12:08 spread of their times

Try a time

1:11:12 earns 1,000 points here. Each minute faster or slower is worth 8.44. Pick a runner's time in the table to try theirs.

The points for this course were set by 20 of its runners: those who already had ranking scores and ran close to them. Their scores averaged 999.5 and their times 1:11:12, so that time earned 1000 points, and each minute faster or slower was worth 8.44 points. How points are calculated.
