1,212 points = 1,212.2 the field's average score + 71.01 spread of their scores × ( 1:17:31 their average time − 1:17:31 a time, T ) ÷ 14:39 spread of their times

Try a time

1:17:31 earns 1,212 points here. Each minute faster or slower is worth 4.85. Pick a runner's time in the table to try theirs.

The points for this course were set by 21 of its runners: those who already had ranking scores and ran close to them. Their scores averaged 1,212.2 and their times 1:17:31, so that time earned 1212 points, and each minute faster or slower was worth 4.85 points. How points are calculated.
